Who We Are
RICH is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to ending homelessness for women, children, and young adults in Pittsburgh. Our approach is unique because we understand that homelessness is not just about the lack of shelter, but the lack of opportunity, resources, and support. That’s why we provide a full spectrum of services that go beyond immediate housing to help individuals and families build a path to long-term stability and success. What truly sets us apart is our commitment to empowerment through education and opportunity. We don’t just provide temporary relief; we focus on long-term solutions that help our clients regain their independence, rebuild their lives, and become active citizens of society.
Why Choose Us?
We’re not just a shelter—we’re a bridge to a better future. At RICH, we offer more than temporary support; we provide the tools, skills, and empowerment needed to break free from the cycle of homelessness. Our comprehensive approach goes beyond housing, with workforce development programs that equip young adults with real-world skills and the confidence to thrive. We work hand-in-hand with our community to ensure sustainable success, focusing on long-term solutions, not short-term fixes.
Our Leadership & Dedicated Team
Our team is comprised of compassionate, experienced professionals who are committed to empowering women, children, and families on their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency. Together, we provide personalized support, educational opportunities, advocacy, and essential resources that help individuals overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and build brighter futures. Guided by a shared commitment to dignity, equity, and hope, we work every day to create lasting, positive change in the communities we serve.
